Silverwood

This spring the kids won tickets to Silverwood theme park. We were recently able to go. The kids had a lot of fun riding rides and also going to the water park part of it as well. The lazy river was a big hit.

Grace was pretty happy the whole day watching everything from her stroller.

Right after their log raft came down a water slide they passed by me and I snapped this picture.

Seconds later they were blasted with a surprise stream of water erupting onto their log raft.

Ellie was determined to get a few people wet.....me included even though I was observing from the shore.

Owen was so excited to drive me around. He informed me that now he could drive me in our car too except we would need to figure out a way for his feet to reach the pedals. He had to push down on this old car's pedal with all his strength to get it to go.......but he did it.

This was at 6pm and the water was a bit cool.

Owen all set to go on the water slide. I watched as he and Tom climbed up for him to go down the yellow water slide in the background. I also watched as the large bucket at the top of the water structure tipped and poured tons of water right down on Owen as he waited in line. I also watched as Owen hightailed it back off the water structure. The surprise dousing was not for him :) Ellie on the other hand was sooooo excited when it randomly dumped on her. She certainly enjoyed the water slide.

The train ride is interactive with old west character riding with us and also a train robbery. The lady robber was just getting ready to drop the dynamite into the well. When it went off a big burst of water flew out at us.

We stayed until 9 when the park closed so it was beginning to get dark, but one last ride on the bumper cars. This was a ride Owen had been asking to go on bit when we got over to it he was not tall enough to ride alone and 2 people could nit ride together. He was pretty sad not to ride, but we did enjoy watching Ellie ram into Tom.

We had a lot of fun and the kids are hoping to be able to again win tickets next year....we will see :)
