While at the Dacha we took Ellie sledding. The Skinner's had an adorable old wicker sled that was perfect for a bundled baby. Ellie was so nice and toasty warm all wrapped up in her snowsuit and a big down quilt. She was so comfortable that after her minor crash she fell asleep and slept the whole time everyone else was sledding.....actually she fell asleep before we even got to the hill only 15 minutes form the Dacha. As for the minor crash, well......the sled is a bit tippy and under the snow we didn't realize we were heading over a potato patch.....that means uneven ground. The sled just tipped sideways and Ellie got a bit of snow in her face. She didn't mind it too much.....I think it just startled her. Here are a few fun pictures of Ellie's first sledding adventure.

How fun! I would love to go sledding too. The cabin house looked like lots of fun and cozy with the fire going.
She looks so funny all bundled up. A little Eskimo girl. I think it is so fun that she had her first little sledding trip.
