Glacier Rainbow

On Saturday we drove down the Glenn Highway to the Matanuska Glacier. We drive by it every time we go to and from Anchorage, but have never stopped. So we made a special trip to it so that we could explore it. As we drove up there was a small rainbow just above the glacier. It was really pretty with the dark clouds looming above. Ellie was really fussy after being put in the backpack carrier. It was only after Tom started walking that she quieted down and fell asleep. We walked a little way out on to the glacier, but it was really slippery so we did not climb to high. Kijik had no problem and was bounding all over the place. He truly is an Alaskan dog.
