Wrangell Mountains

Alaska truly is "the last great place". There is wide open space with tons of mountains, tundra, water and wildlife. This view is 40 miles west of Glennallen on the Glenn Highway. The mountain in the center is Mt. Drum. It is flanked by Mt. Sanford and Mt. Wrangell. Mt Wrangell is an active volcano. By the way this picture was taken at around 10:30 pm, note how much daylight we have.
