We finally planted out little flower sprouts that we have been growing in the house for about 7 weeks. I think some of them were actually a bit overgrown for the little containers they were in. Hopefully they will survive and grow to be beautiful flowers.

Ellie really had fun bringing me the little plants. She was so gentle with them and didn't drop one.

Ellie took the little shovel and decided to dig a bit. Unfortunately she was digging on a board and didn't have much in the way of results :)
This week Ellie has decided that she is stable enough and brave enough to walk all the way across the yard on her own to go visit Kijik. One of us usually intercepts her just before she gets to Kijik....then we calm him down so she can pet him.

It looks like "Spring Time in Alaska" at last! Your plants will be a good project for Ellie to help water and care for. Love you guys.
