I know I am 2 weeks late in posting Owens monthly post, but wanted to be sure to jot a few things down for my remembrance since I don't seem to be jotting his moments down anywhere else :)
So here are a few things about Owen at 19 months old......
* He will look for the moon outside at night and say "mooom". It is so cute to hear.
* He has now moved to one nap per day. It starts right after lunch at 12:30 or 1 and he will usually sleep 3 hours.
* He is still very attached to his little blankets. He likes to snuggle his face into them for comfort.
* He likes to drink water and will frequently ask for his "wawa".
* Grandpa and Grandma Petersen came for a visit. He is working on learning to say Grandma and Grandpa.
* He has his second set of molars coming in. The 2nd top right one is through with the others still working their way in.
* He still loves cheese and can now say "cheeeeee". A couple weeks ago I was in the store buying some cheese from the deli. Owen saw all teh cheese in the display case and started pointing and shrieking with excitement, "cheeeeee, cheeeeee, cheeeeee". The deli lady thought it was so cute that she gave him several pieces of cheese.
* He can now say "ball". Actually he is repeating and trying to say a lot more words lately. I should try and keep track.
* He went to the farm festival in Sultan. He loved going on a hay wagon ride and seeing the dairy calves.
* He has become a very squirmy boy and has a hard time sitting still...not so good for church :)
* He can stack 8 blocks high and loves to play blocks with Ellie.
* He really enjoys looking at books and having us read to him. He will sit for an amazing length of time when he is engaged in a book/story.

How fun....Owen is sure growing up fast...but he is still our little buddy. These are fun pic's of him.
