While my Dad was here He always seemed to have a M&M treat in his shirt pocket for Ellie. She caught on really fast and would come up to Him and say "pockey"(her version of pocket) indicating that she would like an M&M. Grandpa would dole out 2 at a time and she learned to cup her little hands to receive her M&M's.
