Ellie ~ 20 months old

"Monkey, baby doll and crackers.....can't get much better than this!!!!"

At 20 months old Ellie:

* will take the initiative when she sees something out of place will go put it away.
* needs another hair trim.
* loves to eat bananas.
* loves to play in her rice "sandbox".
* has now started wearing size 4 diapers, but could still remain in size 3 if we wanted her to :)
* gets soooooo excited when she sees other kids. She will run up to them wanting to hug them or give them a pat pat.
* still gives Mommy and Daddy pat pats when she gives a hug.
* likes to look at books especially books with animals.
* will carry on an entire conversation with us, but it is in Ellie language.
* understands and follows most direction that we give her.
* communicates through a vast amount of expressive sounds and faces that go along with her Ellie words.
* can take her diaper off :(
* says "rah" for rock.
* can take off her clothes by herself and can put her socks on by herself.
* likes to have her own napkin when eating and will wipe up spills as well as her hands.
* said "y" sound when doing the alphabet.
* said "wow...ough" for cow-mooo.
* played in the toilet for the first time.....she put her rubber duck in as well as a napkin.(At least it was a flush able and a floaty toy :)
* got her first potty chair.
* scooped food off her own chin with her spoon just like Mommy does to her.
* will imitate everything we do.
* will now say "tank ough" for Thank You.
* said "ayy" for the letter "A".
* can say "waa" for what.
* still loves her baby doll and carries it around and treats it like a real baby.
