Our school recently had a Christmas Music Party. It included classical music, folk songs, country music and Christmas carols. It was a true music mix. Our teacher Ida has been teaching us several Russian folk songs. One of which is "Moroz, Moroz" or "Frost, Frost". Ida coaxed Tom into performing this song and several others all the while wearing a "Father Frost" costume (as she called it). I guess the Russian Father Frost is similar to Santa, but with a completely different story. Ellie had received a cute little fluffy blue skirt and top in the mail from her Uncle Steven and Aunt Samantha and it went perfect with Tom's costume. I called Ellie, "our little Frost princess". She loved watching Tom sing and kept looking up to the front saying dddddaaaaaadadad. It was cute.

Looks like it turned out to be a fun time for you all. Good job Tom in your first Russian preformance.
