Gro Baby Diapers!!!!

As you might know when Owen was 3 months old we decided to use cloth diapers instead of disposables. This has overall been really great. It is nice not to have to spend all that money each month on diapers. We tried several different brands and settled on a couple that we really liked. One of those was Gro Baby Diaper.

Gro Baby diapers is giving away for free their Bio Soaker Intro Package for a limited time to people who blog about the product. The Gro Baby diaper was one of the diapers that we really liked. This diaper is unique in that it has an outer waterproof shell that you can snap in an organic cotton soaker pad. If the pad is just wet you can remove it and use another one for up to half the day. This is really great for traveling because you only need a couple of waterproof shells and several soakers.

Now they have introduced a new biodegradable soaker that is designed to just adhere to the inside of the shell with adhesive tabs then once it is soiled it can be disposed of. Here are a few of the specifics of the Bio Soaker:
  • Biodegradable & Compostable
  • Breathable & Hypo-Allergenic
  • Fragrance & Dye Free
  • Plastic Free
  • Chlorine Free
One pack of 50 of these Bio Soaker is only $19.99. This equals about the same as a pack of disposables. They are just a lot better for the environment. Did you know that is can take from 250-500 years for a disposable diaper to decompose. A Bio Soaker will break down to decompose from 50-150 days. This is a huge difference!!!

The Gro Baby Bio Soaker Intro Package contains 50 Bio Soakers and 1 Gro Baby Shell (Vanilla Color). It costs only $34.95.

We have been using the reusable organic cotton soakers, but just recently purchased a box of the Bio Soakers to try. I will say that after only a couple of uses, the Bio Soakers are great! They are handy if traveling or when you need to pack really light, as well as perfect to use when your baby gets an occasional diaper rash and you want to use diaper rash cream. They absorb a lot of liquid and they contain messes.

If you have not tried cloth diapering and want to dip your toes in using the Gro Baby Diaper System with the Bio Soakers would be a great investment.
